Reverend Annie Varner was born in Opelika Alabama. At an early age, God placed a call on her to serve in His Kingdom. To answer God's call, she joined a working church. She realized that at an early age, God had placed a call on her to serve in His Kingdom. Annie understood those whom God calls should be grounded in His Holy Word, and they should develop their skills in Christian discipleship before they answer the call to ministry.

In 1994, Reverend Annie joined the Church of St. Marin de Porres. Following Jesus’ instruction in Matthew 5:14, 16 she began her church ministry by feeding the homeless and later becoming a eucharistic minister. Reverend Annie enjoys teaching bible study classes and conducting new members orientation. She also sponsored quarterly prayer breakfast and assisted the pastor with baptisms and dedication.

Prior to beginning her journey at St. Martin de Porres, She completed a two year program at the Halpine Church School (1986) and a two year program at the Metropolitan Faith Center School of Ministry with courses such as: The Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Faith, Christian Counseling, Healing Truth, The Life and Ministry of Jesus, Praise and Worship, Pastoral Excellence and Education, Sermon Preparation, and the Ministry of Family.

In 1999 she began training for Deaconate. She assisted in baptisms, marriages, funerals, feeding homeless on the streets, conducting bible studies, serving in nursing homes, setting up orientation classes for the church and assisting the Chaplin at Doctors Community Hospital praying for the sick.

In August 2014, she received a Certificate of Ministry at Greater Mount Calvary Bible Institution. The courses included the principles and process of Bible Interpretation, the principle of leadership and her favorite pneumatology, the study of the Holy Spirit.

In 2003 she was ordained Minister at the Church of St. Martin De Poress. She was elevated to Pastor at the Tribe of Judah Church in August of the following year. She also worked with programs for seniors against stalking, domestic violence, and a reentry program.

In 2012, Pastor Varner began her program On His Wings of Eagles which promotes the youth and provides a platform for them to display their talent and abilities and encourages them in the Word of God.
